Updated xbox one and now all my games saved to harddrive wont play

The games are on the hard drive, they came from disks purchased about 3 years ago i was able to play them before this last xbox update so they should show up in my profile history as licensed in the past. The problem is i have been playing them so long
on hard drive i no longer have the disks. I Don't think its right that i have been playing these games and now since an update i might have to buy them again.

I would recommend starting with a full power cycle by pressing the Xbox button down for 10 seconds until it shuts off, power it back up and try again. See if they launch after that, if not, we can get some next best troubleshooting steps.

Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the error that you're receiving after the update. If you haven't done so already, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console. [Keep my Games and Apps]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter.

• Are the games you are trying to play disc games?
• Do you have any issues with digital games?
• Have you checked your
  Microsoft Account transactions to ensure the license is on this account?

I have reset my console and now it asks if the games i saved to harddrihar are mine. It wants me to put the disk into the drive to load. Since these games were loaded about 3 years ago i no longer have the disks and i don't want to pay another $250 dollars
to purchase again. As i stated before, these games are on the hard drive and this issue has only started since this last update. I updated the games and console a while back with no problems. My xbox account still shows achievements done in the games i have
but now i can't play them.
