Update results in loosing my redeem codes

Hi, I did the recent update on my Xbox console and it deleted all my messages which I had kept from Xbox which had unused redeem codes on.

What's even more random is that messages which I had deleted months+ ago had reappeared.

I want my messages back so that I can redeem my codes.

Can someone actually help me because over the 10odd years i've been with Xbox nothing ever gets sorted. It's always a joke!

I had multiple codes on there. As to which codes i'd redeemed I can't remember everyone. I didn't expect to be put in this situation..

However, the one code I do remember and want is the one for the upcoming final fantasy 15 game.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

Purchased 1 year xbox live subscription (digital code) - order number 17343376358.

Received activation code -

Attempts to redeem the code result in the above error code being issued.

Have followed instructions to wait and try again, always the same results.

Error code checker doesn't recognise the above code.

Please advise on how to redeem my code.

Just to clarify, may I know where did you purchase the game code? Also, could you please sign in on this link; https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, and check your redemption transaction for the game? If it's showing as "Canceled", it may be possible that your transaction for the game was canceled as well for some reason so I would recommend contacting the point of sale for further assistance.
