    update made xbox unusable wont allow sign in


    Was watching amazon prime video, was interrupted saying it needed an update, the first time it tried updating it claimed there was an error and i clicked try again that time the update was successful-ish. Now when xbox is started it wont let me sign in. I click the nexus button or the link on home page and the screen just greys nothing else happens.

    The Halo: Reach dashboard beta disc.

    Bungie did an update that made the Dashboard Beta Disc unusable. You should have gotten an email with a code to redeem Halo Reach from Xbox marketplace. Check the email that you used to sign up for the beta.

    I'm having the same issue.. I switched to a different account and tho it wont download anything it did allow me to sign in and use netflix.. My main account wont sign into live at all.. That's the account I accepted the preview update on and now wish I would
    have declined..

    If you will keep neglecting the message it wont allow you to sign in to live after a while, You need to update the proofs and re-download the profile. Nothing will be lost during the process!
