    Update Issue with Xbox one. Error code information is not available on Xbox support.


    I recently got a 4gb update but when it's installing an error pops up saying

    "There was a problem with the update You need this update to use your console but something went wrong. For help visit......

    Source OS: ...... Target OS: ...... Console Id: ..... Error Code: 0x8007232A 0x00000000 0x90100005"

    I searched online but to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this? If you need the source/ target OS and console ID to identify the issue tell me in the comments I will reply. Thank you.

    That is an console update error code. That means the system update is not currently available This error means that your Xbox One requires a system update, but the update is not currently available.
    This error could occur if there’s an issue with the Xbox servers. Try installing the system update again later.

    Problem with the Update on Xbox One

    Same issues here as of this morning, it was all working fine last night.

    I have a Xbox One and Xbox One S and both have the exact same error code.

    I will try the hard boot when I get home but I'm hoping in 9 hours they will have fixed the issues with the XBOX server as that's what the actual error message (0x8B050033) is saying when checking with MS Support.

    I hope they are looking at this as there is quite a few people reporting this currently.

    So will try later and if that doesn't work maybe the hard-reboot will do the job...
