Update Grief....Help ??

Hi All,

First time poster......My son has an Xbox 360 and has jumped on this morning to play Minecraft. In his attempt to start the game it has come up with a game update but when attempting to select storage device to save the new update or if I'm quick enough
to get to that point the game and the console actually freeze. The console logs its self out of xbox live and just stops working.

Can anyone suggest any fixes or reason as to why this could be happening.

(just as a side note, I can use the console fine when not in the game its self)
