Please try performing an offline update by following the steps here:

For this process, you'll need a USB flash drive with at least 8GB of storage capacity.

The file used for this update varies depending on your console model. If you have an original Xbox One, you must use a different file than other consoles. You can find more information on the website I gave you.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue with a game. Are you talking about a factory reset. When you choose the factory reset to remove everything. This does remove games too. Please provide as much information as to the situation.
