\update for IOS

Is your iOS device fully updated? You can check for updates in the 'System' tile under the general category. If your iOS device is fully updated, I recommend that you try uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Solitaire Collection from your iOS device and
download it through the app store.

There was an IOS update yesterday. The iPad my need to be updated.

Is the iPhone 7 at its latest iOS version? I think it is up to 13.3 for the latest update if your phone cannot be updated to the latest iOS then you may not be able to run the latest apps.

Still having problems with wordament onboth iphone and ipad today 1/3/20. HELP needed now

Unfortunately the fix released last week did not solve the issue for iOS and they are still looking into it.

This is the last update available on their Facebook page:

"iOS Players: Our team is looking into the iOS update error. We'll update this post when it is live."

Until the iOS Smartglass gets a new update then the only way to do it is via Xbox.com store ( desktop version ) of your phone. I tried it during update preview, it works. Hopefully the iOS update comes soon to make it easier.
