    Update Failure


    Dear Microsoft Community,

    I was in the middle of updating a game when the download stopped and took me to a screen with the status code: 4497-0000-D080-0200-8015-000A. The screen stated that there had been an issue involved updating the game. I dont know how to continue from
    this and am l asking for your help on how to resolve the issue. I understand if i don't get a response immediately since we're going through some tough times with Covid-19.

    offline between several update cycles and the flash memory goes bad during that offline period, ANY update would cause a failure, not just a specific update.

    Your console asked for an update because the hard drive failed and it could not read the previous install of the update. It's not the update that causes the failure but rather the failure causes the need for an update.
