    False alarm

    Just rebooted my console and now the 50hz mode is working fine.

    If anyone else gets blanking after just updating the blu ray app just fully shutdown the console then reboot

    Update left everything unplugged for 3 hours came back and still has a black screen. Tried to hold power button again for reboot and nothing. Will reboot and unplug everything tonight and try one more time in morning and see what happens. If anyone has anything
    else I could try please chime in.

    I rebooted my Xbox and it seemed to fix the issue if anyone else has this problem.
