    Update Error 0x8B05000F


    Have the same error. Unable tonupdate. Goes through download and verification of update. Does not apply the update and error message is displayed. Any luck with that problem. Even a virtual chat with a support representative didnt solve the problem for me

    Hey Bhaskar,

    Let's try to get you back online! For this update fail error we suggest you perform a

    factory reset     on your console.

    1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
    4. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button, and then press the
      Xbox button on the console.
    5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
    6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
      BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
    You will be given the option to reset and keep your games and apps, try that before deleting everything.

    I've had this exact same thing- offline system update also brings up an error code. Haven't been able to get to the home page all day!!
