update destroyed my XBOX1

My Xbox 1 was working fine one minute, the next dead. The brains at Xbox 1 down loaded and update that I did not ask for, that I did not want, and was unsolicited, now my XBOX 1 is not working. Have tried all solutions I can find on their XBOX 1 trouble
shooter site to no avail. And after they broke my XBOX 1 they tell me I have to pay to get it fixed. What kind of bull is that. Sounds like some internet scam where a malicious company down loads a virus on your computer then gives you and 800# and tells
you that will be $ 199.99 to remove said virus they just installed on your system. WHAT! Because MY XBOX ONE WAS FIND UNTILL SAID UPDATE NOW NO LONGER WORKING. Talked to some woman that I could hardly understand on the phone and she didn't understand that
my XBOX 1 was working before said up-date then dead after said up-date. She said that was impossible; really? She told me a supervisor would call in 24 hours I'm still waiting 47 hours later for a call that will never come. I'm just wondering, is Bill Gates
and Microsoft strapped for cash, that they have been reduced to scammers that down load a virus to my XBOX 1 and then tell me it's $$$$$$$$$$ to fix it. But this maybe a blessing in disguise because as a disabled vet I was saving up to buy their new series
XBOX now I don't think so. If it matters the error code I get is E 100 00000701 8007045D. Anyone interested in a bunch of XBOX 1 games for sale cheep.

Sorry this is happening to you too. Aftet the update both my Xbox one X and S series are having the same problem. Ive done all the trouble shooting that can be found from clearing cache hard reset, offline update soft reset to full blown factorry reset.
Factory reser worked for 3 days then same issues with both and its a repeated fustrated cycle. It really seems like microsoft did this purposely so we can buy the new x box. With out x box support im leaning towards switching to play station after 10+ plus
years of being a loyal x box gamer

Xbox updates have destroyed 2 of our Xbox1 systems now & all Xbox recommends is US paying to have it looked at by their people at cost to US...costing US dam near the price of new systems.

So my recommendation is this... Switch back to PlayStation. We never had an issue w/ their systems, updates, paddles, etc.

Will not be getting it on xbox1 as ive paid for me Ps4

but ill deffo be getting TF on Pc

That's the problem about the Xbox1, it lacks any good hardware, the software will gradually be updated and improved over time, but will the hardware be improved with the Xbox1, most unlikely, if only the Xbox1 wasn't rushed into the market, now Microsoft
has to clean up their mess.
