Update delay button

Why do I have to be kicked out of what I'm doing for an update? Even on PC I can hit a button to delay the update or remind me later if I'm doing something. Some people actually care about their online rankings and forcing them to quit for a 258 MB update
is ridiculous. A simple button that would postpone the update for say 30 minutes would give some one the time to finish up a match or let a raid team know to hold up for a bit, instead of just dropping out since the only options are turn off the xbox 1, update
now, or go offline. None of those are helpful if your online playing a game.

Fifa button delay

I have ridiculous amounts of button delay on fut champs, to the point where its unplayable. My connection is fine because my friend can play on his xbox sat next to me with no delay and I can log into his xbox and play with no delay.

The problem can't be with the internet connection, I surely have a problem with some sort of setting on my Xbox which is causing this problem?

Please help as fut champs is currently completely unplayable!!

 

anyone else having issues with the August update?

Not sure what is up but when I press the X1 button to go home, it seems to have a delay. Also my feed is slower than it used to be, will be several hours behing sometimes. The Aug update seems to be releaseing in phases because i thought the Friends tab should have alreay updated as well but it has not.
