Up on the left stick not working on any controller

Please, try connecting a USB cable and test your controller with it.

I agree, the only controller I have that works properly is my elite. All the controllers I have either have triggers that don't work right or the left thumb stick wont work in the up position.

I am having an issue with my fight stick on the Xbox one. Switching controls for the stick (DPad, Left- or Right-Stick) is not recognized by the Xbox. The system will only recognize the stick as a DPad. I tested this with the controller tester in the Xbox
settings.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Are there any solutions?

I am using a Hori RAP One Kai Fighting Stick on the Xbox One X. The Fight Stick has a small switcher for changing the controls of the stick (DPad, Left- or Right-Stick).

Did you try changing usb ports? Maybe using the ports on the back will work

Ok, so I finally have everything set up, except one thing- I have the thumb stick joystick adapter plugged into the left usb port of the pad. The controller functions as it should, except when I click the adaptive thumb stick, it does not function to
click the left thumb stick, which it controls. Is there a way to do this, or must I find another way to click the left thumb stick?

I'm assuming this is using the on screen keyboard on your console (links didn't work for me)? If so the 'L' controls refer to LB (Left Bumper just above the analogue stick), LT (Left Trigger just behind the left bumper) and LS (Left Stick both the left and
right sticks have a function where you can press them in as if they were a button).
