Unused gift card says already redeemed

i recently tried redeeming a gift card i had received and i first tried entering the code on the xbox and it told me i was doing something wrong and to follow the instructions on the back of the card. I then tried using the site on the card and it then
notified me that the code has already been redeemed. I revealed the code moments before attempting to redeem. I looked in the store on my account but no funds. I went in the setting on xbox under oayment and billing and said i had 0 funds there. I even
checked my kids account in case i accidently did it on his account but not there either. The microsoft help site doesn’t really have any way of getting in touch with a human currently. Am I going to be SOL on this? Is there a way MS can see where and when
this was redeemed?

I am having the same issue, requesting a call is not an option. It is saying it's currently unavailable? So how else can this issue be resolved?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with codes. Here is a guide to request a call from support.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next. On next box hit skip.

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Using gift cards for other regions for example euro when you're in pounds will be unusable in the UK store, the gift card can only be redeemed on the currency store. If you want a refund for the gift card I recommend contacting the seller where you bought
the code to see if they can offer anything in return.

I also purchased a $50 Xbox gift card and when I tried to redeem the code it says it was already redeemed. I've tried the troubleshooting method and contacting the store I purchased it from via email and I have yet to get a solution. I'm "glad" someone else is having this issue.
