Unusable xbox interface

Hello everyone, I have a series s, I use it with its original controller but for 1 months every time I move the joystick or the crosshead to select any app or game, it moves very fast, it is impossible to select something because every time I move it only one place moves three, it also happens on youtube. My controller has no drift and the dead zone has no problem, in the games it works perfectly. Any solution?

That's odd, are you able to test with a different controller just to isolate the issue a bit more?

If not, may I know which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this?

In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed.

In the meantime please try power cycling your console:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Update: i was finally able to “refresh” the dashboard but it took FOREVER. Cant even go to the setting without getting a black screen 😑. Interface is still unuseable

Hi! Depending on the game, if it is online, you are usually directed to the console's home screen. But disconnections can be a sign of network problems.

I would suggest that you perform a
power cycle on your console when this type of behavior starts to happen frequently.

It would also probably be a good idea for you to download the 'Xbox Insider hub' to report the problem of the games crashing to your home dashboard.

Once you download the Xbox Insider hub. Simply hold down your controllers guide button to access the power menu.

Once on the power menu, select 'Report a problem' and then find the respective category to report the problem.

Reporting system issues helps everyone in the long run.
