Unreplaceable [Mod Removed - see Guidelines]

I've bought a Xbox one controller wireless adapter that stopped working after 6 months, now Microsoft nor the retailer can replace it, I'm being forced to either buy another adapter thats going to break again or pay almost 3 times the original price of
the adapter for extending the warranty of a device thats made to break once out of warranty.

That's just the luck of the draw unfortunately. Being that it's out of warranty there's nothing you can do.

sounds very suspicious to me my friend. I have never heard anyone send out a reminder to CANCEL a payment.

I don't think they would remind you to cancel your payment, do you? I would have thought the reminder would be to renew your payment. It might be genuine, but then again, it might not be. Try hovering over any links on the email and see if it shows the
website it would go to. Also check for any spelling and grammar mistakes, and anything else about it which might look wrong to you.
