    can anyone help with batman arkham orgins? brand new and the first disk comes up "unreadable"? second disk is fine. already cleaned the disk and still comes up unreadable. HELP!

    UNREADABLE DISK

    Hey Camelia,

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. I'd be happy to help.

    Is that the only game that is unreadable?

    I would start by clearing the
    Xbox's system cache    . When you follow the instructions from the link, make sure to clear the cache about 3 times for assurance.

    After clearing the cache, turn off the Xbox and unplug the power cord from the Xbox and the wall outlet for a few minutes.

    Is the only game that had this problem... I followed your instructions, but still doesn't work! What should I do next?

    Hey Camelia!

    Thanks for the reply! This issue could also be a faulty update on the console I would advice to try and

    roll back     (solution 7) said update and give it another shot! Keep us posted!

    UNREADABLE DISK

    this is usually a dirty or damaged disc, Check to see if there are any scratches on the printed side of the disc as these are usually worse for disc read errors than scratches on the data side

    it can also be the first sign of a failing dvd drive (this is what happened with my 360) if it starts happening to other games then the dvd drive is faulty.

    i have battlefield 3 and when i put in the disk it would say unreadable disk and sometimes it would say play disk, and when i played the disk it would say "disk is unreadable" can somebody HELP

    backwards compatibility

    Wait, in your tags, it says "Unreadable disk". If the 360 gives an unreadable disk error, it means just that, it can't read the disk.

    If you play an xbox game that is NOT backwards compatible, it will FLAT OUT SAY "THIS ORIGINAL XBOX GAME IS NOT COMPATIBLE". Not "this disk cannot be read".

    Try cleaning the disk. Are there any scratches on it?
