Unmechanical crash during one of the loading...

Everytime I try to play the Extended episode, I watch the cutscene, then there is a loading and the loading crash everytime, it only brings me back to the Xbox One Home menu...

Game crashes while loading level

The level titled, "Present Danger", in the "Holiday Canyon" world, crashes the game during loading. Enter the portal, loading screen comes up, progress freezes, game closes and goes to home screen. Playing the game on a original Xbox One, game is saved on
a external hard drive (no other games having issues with being saved on hard drive). Game version is 1.5.20.0, all DLC is also downloaded. Tried a hard reset to see if it would resolve the problem, still crashes during loading of the level. Not sure what to
do next. Disappointed kiddos and what not. Any help would be appreciated.

So basically every time i play and try to continue the story my game frezzes and then crashes during the loading screen

 

Same here I got every achievement save for the 2 that require the Extended Playthrough, and the game exits to dashboard. They did not even test this game when it was released. Does the developer care or know its broken?

Twigleaf Twigs, I see that you have unlocked all of the achievements for Unmechanical: Extended, are you still experiencing this issue? If so please post back and let us know!

Icarusael, if you're still experiencing this issue, I would start by power cycling your console to see if the Extended episode loads afterwards. To power cycle, follow the steps below:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
  
• Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back in and power on.

Hello. Sorry for the long delay. I think the issue may revolve around it being installed on my USB device . Perhaps, it didn't fully pass certification for running on a USB device, since it was just the extended cut version. Only the extra part would
crash.

The way I fixed the issue, was to put the game on the internal drive. Once I did that, it made it past the cutscene fine, and I was able to complete the last 2 achievements.

I seriously doubt it was a corrupt installation, or a cache issue. When it was on my USB drive, I would notice it didn't want to transfer the extended level data properly ( It took extra time loading ), and I can only assume it was not handling the memory
of the added content properly? Just speculation.

Anyway, this may or may not be a solution for those who cannot get it to play the last extended part. Stick it on the Internal Drive. I think this is a programming issue that snuck past certification.
