Unlinking Minecraft from a deleted account

Hi,

So when I got Minecraft I used my old account to link it, but due to spam reasons I had to delete my email and I didn’t realise at the time I had to unlink. But my account is fully gone and has been for a while, how can I add a new Microsoft account to Minecraft.

Also this is why I stopped playing cause I couldn’t play with friends since my account wasn’t there anymore so I couldn’t log in - hence why I haven’t played in two years. I hope there is some advice cause I’ve tried loads of things and I miss playing this.

Really wish Minecraft or Sony would make this easier but thank you again none the less

No, you'll need to buy the game using a new PSN account and linking that to a new Microsoft account as well.

Hi, thanks for the reply,

Even if I buy a new game wouldn’t it still be linked to my PSN ? Cause I’ll be logging it into my PlayStation account and if it’s on the same then would I be able to change to another Microsoft account?

Sorry if I got confusing there just don’t want to spend money to find out it’ll be the same problem

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to unlink Minecraft from a deleted account. You'll need to purchase the game again, sadly.

However, you can try to unlink your Minecraft account from your Microsoft account and migrate it to a new one. Here are the steps to do so:

2. Click on "Account" and then "Settings."

3. Scroll down to "Linked Accounts" and click on "Unlink" next to your Microsoft account.

4. Once your Minecraft account is unlinked, you can migrate it to a new Microsoft account by following the instructions on the Mojang website.
