Unlinking deleted Microsoft account from psn

If you linked this deleted gmail account (that was your Microsoft account) to your PSN account, it cannot be unlinked.

If you recover this gmail account you can actually unlink it from your PSN account, but once you link a Microsoft account to a PSN account, you cannot link any other Microsoft account to it. Only the original one can be linked again.

That is a complete lie. The linking happens on Microsoft's servers - Sony has nothing to do with it.

The problem is that neither Minecraft support, Xbox support, or Windows support teams have access to that database. That's why they keep pointing fingers at each other.

Hi I have done lots of reading today on this issue, what I can't wrap my head around is how this Microsoft account is still linked to my PSN when it has been deleted and doesn't exist anymore?

I understand but it doesn't work like that. The game itself has its own account system. We don't know for certain how it really works back-end. The Minecraft support team should be able to give you an answer and assist you on this matter because they have all the resources and tools to check your account in game.

I have seen others with a somewhat similar problem with disconnecting their account have it fixed, so I’d assume there is a way to fix this
