Unlink deleted Microsoft account from PSN

I deleted my microsoft account months ago, this account was originally linked to my PSN ID to play minecraft. I am now trying to login to minecraft on my playstation from a new microsoft account that I just created and minecraft is failing to login because my PSN account is already connected, how do I fix this? I assumed after deleting my microsoft account that this would be unlinked from my PSN account.

If you linked this deleted gmail account (that was your Microsoft account) to your PSN account, it cannot be unlinked.

If you recover this gmail account you can actually unlink it from your PSN account, but once you link a Microsoft account to a PSN account, you cannot link any other Microsoft account to it. Only the original one can be linked again.

Hi I have done lots of reading today on this issue, what I can't wrap my head around is how this Microsoft account is still linked to my PSN when it has been deleted and doesn't exist anymore?

I understand but it doesn't work like that. The game itself has its own account system. We don't know for certain how it really works back-end. The Minecraft support team should be able to give you an answer and assist you on this matter because they have all the resources and tools to check your account in game.

Account linking happens on the servers of the company in question, in this case Sony

They will have to assist you.

I have spoken to Minecraft support and all they can tell me is the same, that the playstation has to be relinked to the same Microsoft account and they have directed me back to Microsoft to get support.

Since my Microsoft account has been deleted permanently, I'm assuming this now means I can never login to Minecraft on my playstation ever again?
