Unlink an Xbox account from a Disabled Twitch Account?

You need to unlink your existing Twitch account connection before logging into your new account.

On your Xbox, go to Settings > Accounts > Linked Social Accounts. Then select 'Unlink' under Twitch, and then link your new account from the same menu.

Since this began, have you tried unlinking your Twitch account from your Xbox One, power cycling your Xbox One (hold the power button for 8-10 seconds), and then relinking your Twitch account? If not, please give that a try

I'd be happy to help you with that. To unlink your old Twitch account and link your new one, you'll need to follow these steps:



1. Go to the Xbox website and sign in with your Microsoft account.

2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select "Settings".

3. Under "Account", select "Linked social accounts".

4. Find the Twitch account you want to unlink and click "Unlink".

5. Once unlinked, click "Add a social account" and select "Twitch".

6. Follow the prompts to link your new Twitch account.

Hi there,

You would have to first reactivate your account by contacting twitch support ( https://help.twitch.tv/s/contactsupport?language=en_US
), then once activated you should have access to the account to unlink from twitch.

Have you tried going into Linked social accounts and signing into Twitch from there? See if that is the problem and if it still happens, check the Linked social accounts on your other account. If it is linked to your other one unlink it and relink the Twitch account to your main account.
