    unknown whether my USB Headset is compatible


    I Recently got a SOMIC Commander G936N as a gift, It uses a usb as the connector.

    Ive been struggling to connect them together. When plugged into the xbox i cant hear.

    I was wondering if this headset is compatible and if it is how do i connect them?

    Or the new xbox wireless

    Made for xbox (recent models I personally have turtlebeach stealth 600 v2 ready for xbox and x (yes says it on the box)

    Which uses windows sonic and xbox wireless

    headsets are usually specifically designed for the individual console. get an astro wireless usb adaptor, that would solve your issue.

    a lot of usb headsets state they are compatible but in fact not, only pc and ps4 support usb headsets.

    Nope. Unfortunately there is no support for USB headset/microphone with Xbox. Some headsets do have a USB port, but these are Xbox compatible headsets. You will need to ensure you obtain a headset that is compatible with Xbox one. As you can see from the
    Razer site, the Razer Kraken is compatible with Xbox: https://support.razer.com/gaming-headsets-and-audio/razer-kraken-xbox-one/ but it
    appears the Kraken Ultimate is not compatible.
