    Hi everyone,

    I apologize for my super bad english

    I play a couple of games with Xbox (beta) on PC, and i really enjoy it but there is a problem when i uninstalling it !

    I have uninstalling the Games with the Xbox application, everything seem fine. The game is uninstal for windows 10 to ( he doesn't appear in windows settings => applications ). But uninstalling the game doesn't make ANY room on the disk !

    In me casse 900 GB disk => install game 850 GB disk => uninstall game 850 GB disk !!

    Pretty annoying speacialy on a SSD.

    Anyone ad a solution for really remove the files ?

    Hi hutkelm,

    sorry to hear. The games Setup is still in the chache. To actually uninstall the game and delete it completely, go to your Settings, System, Storage, Temporary Files, and it’s listed in Delivery Optimization Files. Delete them there!!!

    A couple of things first. You should really confirm that the space truly isn't freeing back up.

    Confirm the amount of free space available on your hard drive before uninstalling. Uninstall the game. Wait for a confirmation telling you that the game has successfully uninstalled. Now open file explorer and check the available space on your hard drive.
    If it doesn't show any more space, try restarting your computer and checking again.

    Alternatively, you could also try to re-install the game, then uninstall it again to see if it was just a bug. Either way, I would recommend restarting your pc just to be safe.

    i have try to empty the temporary files, that wasn't it.

    And i have restart my computer a couple of time no effect.

    But i try to install and delete a game using the "normal" windows way => windows settings => applications and it work, a got my storage space back.

    I try to re-install a game i delete with the Xbox app but i stop it because it don't just re-install from a cache/hiden file somewhere but it seems to download it form scratch...

    Problem solved if anyone else has this issue!

    I just uninstalled the XBOX BETA APP and reinstalled. Everything I was reading was telling me to do this using powershell and doing it with the xbox gaming service. It was the beta app that was causing the problem. After the uninstall, the installer can
    freeze and you just need to reboot and it should work.
