Uninstalled Game, now Won’t appear in Library and wants me to buy it.

I was playing Sea of Thieves, a game I’ve owned and played since May of 2018, yesterday on my Series X until it crashed on me. When I tried booting the game up again, I would either be met with a black screen or load into the menu, but crash again once I got into the loading screen. I settled on uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but once I uninstalled it, the game disappeared from my library, and only appears in the store asking me to buy it. I still have all my achievements on the game in my profile. I received the game as a gift in the form of a physical copy and my in game purchases appear in my billing history. Desperately need help here as to what I need to do to get my game back with its 4 years of progress?

Are you trying to play the game with the disc on the console? If you own a physical copy, the disc must be inserted on the console to prove the game ownership.

This is *** ***! I have 13 games magically uninstalled themselves today. Its going to take me forever to install everything again. If MS cant get their *** together im going buy a PS 4 instead. Im sick of this, now i have finally one day off and i want to
play and my whole Library is uninstalled...

When you go to your purchase history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), do you see the game listed there?

If so, when you click on it to go to the store. Does it give you the option to download, or does it say purchase again? (Make sure you are signed into the marketplace page, which you may have to sign into. It wouldn't let me sign in, but when I right clicked
sign in while doing it on the PC and said open in new tab, the browser signed me into the page no problem).

If it's not in your purchases might mean that you were gamesharing. If you are not using the account that made the purchase as xbox home you will have to purchase the game for yourself.

But it is now also in the gamepass. maybe this is an option for you. there you get many other games too
