Uninstalled game is showing in Xbox App on PC

Recently, I had to uninstall and re-install Xbox App on PC.

After re-installing, Last Stop popped up. I had it installed a long time ago, played it and uninstalled it. I only played through Game Pass.

I've read others where resetting through Advance Options through the Xbox App would fix it, but it did nothing for me.

It's not a huge problem, just a minor annoyance.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi there!

First, be sure to check for Windows updates and get all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

Check the game via PC Settings > Apps > Apps & features, if you could see the game there. If so, please uninstall it from there. You may also check it via the Control Panel. Click on Start > Search Control Panel then select it > select Uninstall a program under Programs > find the game if it's on the list then uninstall.

Lastly, try to reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:
Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device.

Thanks for trying. Have you checked the drive where your games are currently installed if you could still see a folder of the said game?

If not, I guess it may be a little bug on the app. I would suggest that you instead file a bug or report it via the Feedback Hub for Team Xbox to investigate the issue properly. Check your guide here https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/m....

I didn't want to create new post, so I thought I'd continue this one and see where it goes.

As stated, I have a folder in WindowsApps titled "AnnapurnaInteractive.LastStop_1.0.41.0_x64__c96c51jf6wkvm" and it's about 6gbs. I attempted to take ownership of the folder, but the remaining child folders and files were unaffected. I cannot get ownership and remove them.

At one point, I went and tried to change the permissions to the entire WindowsApp folder which caused issues with MS Store, Xbox App and Gaming Service. I managed to get them working again, but that game still sits and is bothersome.

Any suggestions on how to remove the folder if this is the way to remove it from Xbox App would he appreciated.
