Uninstalled game and it did not free up space.

Unfortunately the Windows Game Pass app hides where it installs the games since you don't technically own them and they want to stop people from pirating.

Are you installing to C or a secondary drive?

The most effective way to see and manage your xbox's storage is to go to the settings,

Center button on controller (Home) - Go to Settings (far right tab) - System - Storage - Manage Storage (Far right option) - Uninstall Things

Once there you can see any app or game taking up space along with leftover DLC from any games removed. If the game you removed is no longer there you may need to clear your cache via a hard reset. To do so you may need to look up a video for your specific
model of Xbox because they change the way using different power cycles.

If for some reason after all of that didnt work. You may need to contact support and see if they can figure out what the real issue is. I would recommend using an external storage device to transfer any saved games you can do you dont have to redownload
any games if you must reformat your console.

I would recommend resetting your Xbox to see if it was just a glitch and you actually did free up space and if that doesn't work check Xbox support for help

This is odd. A few things to look up.

1 - You might have just unpinned a game, which just means it doesn't appear on the home screen anymore. To uninstall, go to games and apps, find the game, select more option and select uninstall.

2 - You might have removed the game, but there are alot of extra content and saves which werent deleted so you'll need to find these and remove them.

2 - Try turning your xbox off (fully off, not just standby) and on again. Sometimes I need to do this on my computer to free up the space, and an xbox is just a gaming specific computer at the end of the day.

Maybe you just need to clear local saved games and xbox 360 storage and try restart xbox.
