Unfair Xbox live communication suspension

I was suspended from communication on Xbox for a message that I sent while playing NBA 2k21 current gen. I messaged my teammate something like, "I think this guy is a post hooker" (as in someone who does post hooks a lot, and I was just warning my teammate). I think he reported me because it said that my message contained inappropriate language and was completely censored, so he didn't know what I said. I think it was censored because I said hooker in it (hopefully that doesn't get censored, and if it does, I said ho0ker). I would appreciate any help to lift the suspension.

I think only my dad can submit an appeal tho which is kinda annoying lol. How long does an appeal usually take to update?

You can appeal the enforcement action if you believe that you were suspended unfairly.

As long as you filed a complaint on him (calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums), the enforcement team will also investigate him and take appropriate action. There really isn't a way to know for sure if/when they receive a suspension. It doesn't
matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be suspended. In situations like that, it's best to just report them and block communications with them instead of responding to them.
