Unenroll Old X1X, Enroll New Series X

Because maintaining the production lines costs millions of dollars. The Xbox One is 7 years old, and thr X1X is still based on those technologies. The new Series consoles have AMD’s latest technology in them. The Series X is twice as powerful as X1X on paper,
and probably more in practice due to higher efficiency in modern chips.

Yes, why wouldn't it be? Faster processor, graphics and more RAM (16 GB). I did already state in my previous reply that Series X will play X1X enhanced titles.

Digital Foundry (a popular YouTube tech channel) have shown a video of Gears 5 running on Series X.

Not only was Series X running the X1X Gears game, the developer has enhanced it again for Series X.

I would suggest that you keep trying to
unenroll. Ensure you have a stable connection to the internet, and give the console a simple
power cycle and attempt to unenroll again.

After successfully unenrolling, you should be prompted to perform a system update your console (reverts to the current public release).
