    Not true. A lot of factors go into whether or not you will be stuck with the charges. Never EVER use your debit card online. Not sure what state you are in (I'm sure each have their own laws on the subject) but as a general rule debit cards have very little consumer protections. So, I guess be careful.

    Debit, credit, paypal, and rewards cash.

    Never have been worried about payment info, not like I would be liable for unauthorized charges on any of those payment options anyhow.

    For unathorised purchases definitely get in touch Phone Support immediately:

    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    They should be able to do something about the charges and also help you set up an Unauthorised Access Claim.

    As for your account, this page has some good information to follow on making it more secure for the future:

    As mentioned by fellow ambassadors, you would need to speak with xbox support as we are unable to deal with anything financial. I hope this gets resolved as soon as.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about a charge on your account.

    The refund procedure is now a self-service option. This means that you would need to

    request for a refund     from your end. However, this would need to be able to sign into the account that made these purchases in order to be able to see charges that are eligible for a refund.

    You can
    contact Xbox customer support    , and they may be able to provide additional info on this matter, but they will be unable to process a refund for any unauthorized charges on your account. For this I would have to recommend that you contact your financial institution.

    I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.
