Unable to use sync button for connecting controllers

4) Select Devices & accessories.



5) Select the controller you are using.



6) Select Update.



7) Select Continue.



8) Wait for the console to ? complete the updating process. After that, test your controller and see if the not syncing problem is fixed.

That is weird because usually using a USB cable will automatically sync the controller to that particular console.

Thats normally another option rather then trying to use the sync buttons.

Those steps are among the many youtube videos and they do not resolve anything.

just spilt the [Mod Removed- profanity] thing since it’s conviniently just out of warranty. Have ordered a new wifi module for the box, for 20$.

Might be build to last until warranty is up...... like samsung and their cheap condensators in the power supplies.

think Samsung lost a lawsuit with regards to using components that lasted just til warranty was up.

Think the next gen console will be a Sony Playstation....

Hey there MoltenMedua10. There are 2 ways to do this, either connect the control pads to the console via the charging cable (which will automatically sync them to the console) Or, sync them manually. If you are using the SLIM xbox, the sync button can be
found on the face of the xbox, just next to where the USB ports are. Press that, and then at the same time press the sync button on your control pad (on the roof of the control pad you will see a small circular button just next to the charge input). For the
older consoles, the sync button can be found next to the disk tray (its a small round button).

Since the controller was synced in another console you should sync it back at your console. Don't forget to push the connect button on the controller :
