Unable to use party chat error code 0x8923103d

im getting error code 0x8923103D

ive used both the normal and the beta app and im unable to start or join a party chat now all i get is a error code [0x80072eff] its been a problem for over a week now.

i have been having this same problem since the last update...

its definitely a Microsoft issue that they messed up the codec or something of the sort in the most recent update

because this issued literally started over night after the update was complete and have never had this issue in all the years on xbox.

the only thing i could think of was that my xbox was a first generation xbox one and they really want me to upgrade but hopefully they fix this issue with the next update and not broom it under the rug

I have also tried all your solutions and none of them worked and my issue is word for word exactly like yours, thanks for your post, it makes me feel better that this isnt a me problem and actually wrong doing on xbox update department

This may mean that your Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription has expired or is not valid, or you need to get Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

To Check

If your payment option has expired or is not valid, you'll have to change the payment option associated with your Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription before you can pay any outstanding balance and renew your
subscription. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your
   Microsoft account.
2. Select Services & subscriptions.
   
3. Under Next charge, select
   Pay now for the subscription with the past-due balance.
4. On the "Change how you pay for these subscriptions" page, select the payment option you want to change from the drop-down list.
5. Once you've changed the payment option, select
   Next. This will transfer any balance you owe and immediately charge the new payment option.
   

You can try this, it works for some folks:

On the console, go to settings > network > advanced settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear

Restart your console
