Unable to use my $25 GC

I redeemed a $25 card on my account, but can't use it as a payment option online or on my 360. Any thoughts?

What's a good Xbox Gamertag for a Clan Leader? (Glory)

First of all mate make a Service Tag for your clan Glory.

For Example, ~GC , |GC|, =GC=

Then you could make your gamertag for example, ~GC Master or something like that.

Cannot purchase game saying exceeded amount spent and nothing has been bought

Having the same trouble - have a $25 gc, trying to dl content that is $15. We have no other purchases because we don't keep a cc on file. Haven't tried to purchase anything else, yet it says we have exceeded our spending limit and to try again tomorrow.
That was yesterday. Tried again this morning, yet same problem. Everything was bought in Canada. Have redeemed gift cards before with no trouble. GC shows in the account as being loaded and available. Please help.

Hey there, Rahstyle! I'm very sorry to see any issues with purchases! For the online items, currency cannot be used to purchase Xbox 360 items. That is only one part of this equation, though.

You should be able to use the currency on your Xbox 360, and if it isn't showing up for you, that is something a phone agent would need to look into. I suggest you
contact us via phone to have them look into your account and see if they can find anything wrong with the billing side of things.

The Wii can play GC games because the Wii has the same type of CPU as the GC, albeit a faster one. It's graphics chip also has the hardware that was included in the GC. When you insert GameCube game into the Wii and launch it, the Wii drops into GC mode.
Nothing is emulated, the whole system runs as if it were a GameCube.

The same is also true for the Wii U, only it doesn't play GC games, only Wii titles.
