Unable to use game dvr recordings since update

A BIG ISSUE WITH GAME DVR MP4 FILES

Oh no. i am now unable to use ANY of my game recordings since the update to make youtube videos. As soon as you render any game footage (world of tanks) in my case, the audio in the original MP4 becomes out of sync with the visuals. If you play the MP4
on its own it is absolutely fine. But as soon as you render it in an editing suite it all goes to pot.

I have also rendered some pre-update recordings and they work just fine.

I have even gone to the lengths of converting an mp4 into an mp3 and overlaying them to see if I can adjust the sync.......BUT the audio files run for longer than the visuals.....there is something really messsed up here.....

AND IT IS ALL AFTER THE UPDATE!!

If you have a solution please let me know....otherwise...it may be game over for my youtube channel

April Update Beta Issues

Since the March update I have been unable to record with Game DVR. But since getting the April preview I am unable to use Game DVR at all. I have done all suggested methods to resolve this but nothing has worked.

 

XBOX DVR Not Working Properly

Thought the latest update would fix this issue, but still having problems recording clips from games like Fallout 4, The Division, and other large games. I can use the Record That, and once use the DVR Snap to record 5 minute clips. But after the first
recording, the next attempt the DVR just circles away.

 

Here's an idea..... why not get a PVR? Hauppauge and Elgato are the common brands YouTubers use. I have a Hauppauge HD PVR2.

Limitations with Xbox's DVR system

- Cheapskate system.

- Maximum 5 minute video clips.

- Video captures do not capture voice chat AND game chat and game music and dashboard surfing. It only records in-game material.

- Xbox's DVR system doesn't focus on YouTube, but rather Mixer and Twitch. Why would I use those when YouTube is so much better. And YouTube isn't controlled by Microsoft, but Google.

Sure a PVR may cost $100-$200, but I've had mine since like January 2013 during Xbox 360 before Xbox One and it records both Xbox 360 and Xbox One and PS4 stuff. My Hauppauge HD PVR2 is working fine still. So is my Xbox 360 slim console and my Xbox One X
console.

I wonder what damage next months update will bring....

But yes that's my solution. Pay a premium for better hardware/software, or be cheap and live off what Microsoft throws at you.

 

If your serious into uploading game video to YouTube or even streaming, you really should go with a external box like the Elgato series.

Also you'll be able to do much better quality video capture than the quality from Xbox.
