    So, bought a wonderful brand new Galaxy Tab 7+ and given I had my leg broken in a football game and sitting on the sofa a lot I thought I'd try out Game Pass Ultimate.

    However, it simply proves unplayable because the graphics simply do not resolve properly. Even Hyperdot that has incredibly minimal graphics can't stay resolved.

    I'd like to think it's a problem with my network / wifi router, but Sky have confirmed that (for them) the line is running at 55mb/s and the wifi box is working.

    Then Microsoft support suggested that it's a fault with the new tablet (lol) because as far as they can see the subscription is working, and the service is working and then hung-up on me when I challenged that idea a bit (double lol).

    And of course Samsung have now said that the tablet will absolutely be fine and the unless I send the tablet back (a week before xmas) there's no way to prove it's working (unless I just tell Microsoft and Sky it's fine - really scientific).

    Yes, I know it's a beta service, but ... hyperdot ...

    So, what is the problem that would cause this?

    It's also not in the FAQ / support topics.

    And how the **** do I prove that?

    Are you on 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. You should really be on the latter

    Oh it's a classic case of "passing the buck"

    Sky have indeed said it's all fine "on the line" but offer no way to prove the wifi is working or that it is unable to cope with a few devices connected.

    They've said to try and test with just the one device connected to the wifi, but that's not a real world test and would involve unplugging their sky boxes as well of course.

    I get the problem sitting right next to the router, so not going to start testing other rooms if that doesn't work.

    And it's a small flat ...

    Yes, I could do the USBC dongle, but that's more expense on top. Worth a consideration for sure.

    Bluestacks is a lovely idea, but removes the tablet from the test.

    I guess it's all about proving what the minimum specifications are:

    Device

    Wifi throughput

    + xbox service

    Can't believe the beta isn't able to stream the data, but when you develop in a "laboratory condition" then when the real world hits you need to be able to state exactly what is enough and then how the end user can test that.

    Otherwise I'm going to be constantly bounced between multi-nationals.

    And it's a beta service, so I'd really like to help properly test and debug the issue so others don't have the same problem.

    Sky can check the connection their end and tell you it's fine, but they can't so easily check your WIFI signal in your home, certainly can't easily check WIFI remotely.

    Do you get the same problem in every room?

    The Galaxy S7+ has USB C so you should be able to connect it via a USB C ethernet dongle and connect it directly to your tablet for testing purposes.

    Also, a lot of people don't know this, but unless your PC/Laptop is really old, you can try the cloud gaming service on a PC via the Android Emulator called Bluestacks.

    I don't know if the plus version has additional processing power, but my galaxy tab S7 has never successfully run cloud gaming because the processor isn't fast enough to keep up
