    Unable to upload to Game DVR from Windows 10 pc


    Ok, so i could well be that I'm as dumb as a shoe but i think not, I watched the most recent XBLI announcement at the end where at the end Major Nelson says 'Did you know' "you can download your game dvr's to a Windows 10 p.c edit in your
    favourite editing software then simply drag them into your Captures Folder then you can upload to xbl, it's that simple."
    Windows 10 p.c CHECK

    Favorite editing software CHECK

    Downloaded clip and edited CHECK

    Dragged to Captures folder CHECK

    Now when i go into Game DVR on PC the captures are there, but when i hit the Upload button i get a pop-up message 'Sorry, this capture cannot be shared. We do not recognise the game'?





    I've tried re-naming the files, even down to going into properties folder and changing names there, no change still unable to upload, nothing showing up on Console either. This may just be a simple fix but i can't figure it out.

    Please could someone wave there wisdom over this and help. Your karma will be rewarded.

    Hello, I'm unable to upload and share edited Game DVR clips in the Xbox App on Windows 10 to Xbox Live. App crashes each time 99 % of the clip is uploaded.

    If you have a mobile game clip what you've recorded to your phone using a screen capture app or something like that, you can't upload that video to Xbox Live.

    Sorry, but that's not the way it works. You can download, edit and upload back
    to Xbox Live only those game clips that
    you’ve recorded with the Game DVR feature.

    Step 1: Upload the video to Xbox Live (what you want to edit)

    Step 2: Once it's uploaded to the Xbox Live, download it to your Win10 PC via Xbox App

    Step 3: Edit, trim and save the new game clip


    Step 3: Upload your edited video back to Xbox Live
