Unable to uninstall Xbox app

I have a laptop with limited processor and hard drive capacity so I need to strip out any unnecessary apps or features. Microsoft included xBox in the Windows 10 install and it is resisting my efforts to Uninstall it. The uninstall button is greyed out
in Apps & Features under Settings, and it doesn't show up under the Programs listing under the Control Panel. I managed to get rid of the XBox Live component using a remove command in the MS POWERSHELL but even that left 2 xBox components behind. I'm not a
developer or programmer so I've reached the limit of my technical capabilities and need help to get rid of this and the games, if I can. All I want to do on my laptop is create documents and check my mail. I really don't want all this other
[Mod Removed - see Guidelines]. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll try both suggestions; I'm doing a Windows refresh right now to bring Windows back to manufacturer settings (found that in the Windows Defender Security Package) and then I'll move as much as I can over to an external
hard drive. Hopefully this is just a corruption issue and I can get things back up and running. This laptop is only 2 years old so I shouldn't have to replace it yet. I really wish someone would come up with a modular suite of products that lets the user decide
which modules they want to install. Sigh...

There is no ability to completely remove Xbox from Windows 10 even with the Poweshell commands. The component itself is tiny, removing it will
not release a significant amount of storage on your laptop.

Xbox does not come with games installed by default. Any games that are somehow installed on your machine can be removed via the Settings screen.

In addition, the Xbox component of Windows 10 uses no extra processing cycles and will not slow down your laptop, regardless of its specifications.

I can see where you have followed all known steps, though when you used Powershell do you mind if i asked please did you know the commands to use or did you follow instructions from a site. Also, you said that it left 2 components behind, where did you see
the 2 remaining. (Screenshot would be great)

Also, you said, when finished you want the laptop for emails and documents nothing else. Though i assume formatting isn't an option as you have lots of documents, emails, pictures that you dont want the hassle of re-installing on your pc.

You can uninstall built in apps with this tool it will however only uninstall them for the account you are signed in on. As someone pointed out Apps do not take up a lot of space so you are likely going thru what could be a lot of work for little gain.

I would suggest you look into a decent external USB drive that you can put certain things on. File for music/videos/pictures perhaps that are not needed all the time.
