    I've tried holding down the x button more than 20 seconds.

    Controller has the latest update. Updated a couple weeks ago via Series X and just now ensured no new update with the xbox accessories app.

    Unable to turn off controller with the 'Xbox Game Bar' enabled and disabled.

    When I disconnect the controller from the usb it turns on my xbox and then I am able to turn off controller.

    How can I turn off the controller when connected to pc or phone via usb?

    Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

    The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.

    How did you connect it? Threw USB or Bluetooth? My Series X Controller worked flawlessly with bluetooth. Also what mobile device are you useing? It works on both my Android phone and tablet.

    good work around but i am still surprised the controller is not turning off when holding the xbox button, as all my controller do and they are a mix of xbox one controllers and series controllers. regardless if connected via wireless or usb to the pc.
