    Unable to transfer or update games to External Seagate HD


    Good afternoon. Since the last XBox update, we have been unable to transfer or update games on our External Seagate SSHD. The XBox 'sees' the device and it is set as the default storage location. We cannot install, move (transfer) or update any games
    on that drive. We can, however, play games that were previously on that device.

    We spoke with the HD Vendor and they said it was a result of the XBox update. Can you guys please fix this ASAP?

    Seagate 4TB external HD is working a treat.

    I'd give it a 10/10 so far. Works perfectly and it's very easy to transfer saves both to and from the XBox Internal HD to the External one.

    Game installs a bad idea?

    My HD was getting full AGES ago.

    Even though it's advertised as 500GB there's only 324GB available for putting your games on.

    External Storage is wonderful though.

    Seagate 4TB External HD more than manages my game library now.

    Boot up time with external HDD takes about double the time than without. Is that normal?

    Same boot up speed for me with my Seagate 4TB External HD.

    Yes it should be fine WD is a pretty safe bet for external HDs along with seagate
