Unable to sign on to Microsoft Account

I am unable to get into my account. My account has no password set to it apparently. I have 2 factor authentication enabled on my account. I do not this account setup on my authenticator app. The only way I can access it is via 2 factor authentication (code from phone number and code from email).

I have tried the account recovery form and I get an email saying because i have 2FA turned on the form cannot do anything.

I have used the link to reset/enter a password but cannot get past the authentication methods. I either have issues with the email sending, the sms sending, or both.

For Email - I am on the page that says "We need to verify your identity". When I enter my email and hit "Get Code" nothing happens. It's like the button does not work. It will not send code or advance to next page like it has sent. I have gotten it to work a few times, but then SMS does not work. Now though every time no matter if on phone or computer, Safari, or Chrome, the button does not even work. It does not say they have sent the code and I do not see. For times when i did receive code i entered and it said the session expired try again.

For SMS authentication - This was working originally when issue was email but then eventually it started to say to try again tomorrow as it was blocking any more requests that day. Now it just says "Try another verification method. That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method"

I have no other methods. I have tried clearing cache / private browser / different devices etc.

I do not have my account recovery code.

I am simply trying to login so that I can play minecraft. My research tells me that once my playstation and minecraft accounts are linked, even if unlinked, I cannot then link my pin account to a different (new) microsoft account.

Your internet device is blocking your connection to the servers.

So you just need to configure your internet devices now.

They are unconfigured, so have access restrictions, causing these errors.

If you do not have knowledge, I advise you to contact the ISP that they will do for you

set a fixed ip for the console/PC, open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Put console/PC IP in DMZ zone.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

You can ask ISP(Internet Service Provider) for help

I'm trying to check for windows updates on my toshiba computer but whenever I do it keeps saying 'There was a problem checking for updates.' the wifi is connected but I don't know what the problem really is?

Josh, this is usually a network error. You can try to connect your TV to a hotspot created from your cell phone network and check if that way the login is released.

If it still doesn't work, it could be something on your TV, but unfortunately we don't have a procedure for that, requiring the activation of the TV manufacturer.

For the email option it's not even giving me any sort of error message...on all devices it's just not sending the code like the "get code" button doesn't even work which I don't believe should be intended. the only time i got the email it went to next page in flow to enter the code. So this also feels more like a bug to me than intended, and unfortunately there is no way to show that to Microsoft agent or have them send me the email from their end which is frustrating.
