    Unable to sign into Xbox live. New Xbox one S


    I can not sign into my Xbox live account. I have tried with my phone and controller. When I attempt to proceed with my email, I get kicked back to the screen that says scan the QR code or click the button to use the controller. It is maddening. Once I was able

    To use my phone then I was required to create a new password, then verify, but when I do both, it kicks me back to the create password screen. I also tried to use my phone number but it says the format is wrong. I entered the 10digits as XXXXXXXXXX also XXX-XXX-XXXX as well as (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

    I keep getting booted back. Also, I went and bought a brand new 2nd Xbox and have the same issues.

    Any ideas here?

    If you set the Xbox One S to be your home console, then everybody on the Xbox One S will have access to your Xbox Live Gold features, and your digital games. For anything on disc you'll obviously need a second copy. Your Game Pass games will be shared as
    well, and you and your kids will be able to play the games at the same time on both consoles. You don't need to be signed in, just make sure the Xbox One S is set as your home console.

    To access your content on your old Xbox One, your account will need to be signed in and you'll need to be connected to Xbox Live. So if your internet is down, you'll unfortunately be unable to play your games on the Xbox One, but you'll still be able to
    play your games on your 'home' Xbox One S. So if your kids want to play against each other, one can play on the 'home' Xbox One S, and the other can play on the old Xbox One as long as you are also signed in on the old Xbox One. But if you are playing with
    your account on the 'home' Xbox One S, then your kids will be unable to play on the old Xbox One. I hope that makes sense?

    You'll be able to download any games (old purchases or new ones) on both consoles. It's a good system and it works really well.

    Thanks for the response and confirmation.

    He has a Xbox One at this Mams and a Xbox One S with me - both connected to the one Xbox Live account (mine). The Xbox One S will be replaced with the new Xbox Series X. He would find it odd if the days leading up to Xmas he was unable to use his current Xbox One S... and drive me crazy.

    Have you tried to create a new profile on Xbox.com instead, and then sign into it on the new Xbox One S and see if that works at least?
