    Unable to share Game Captures


    Hello,



    The Xbox Mobile App recently had an upgrade about two weeks ago. I have had an ongoing issue with the app since the new version was released which I did not have on the old version of the app. When I try to “Save” or “Share” my
    game captures to my mobile gallery or a social network site, I am receiving this error message:



    “You cannot share to social networks because of how your account is set up. To change this, customize your Xbox Live privacy settings”



    I had not changed my setting since upgrading my Xbox App so I do not understand how I was able to previously share/save game captures and now I am unable to. Since receiving this error, I have tried to alter my Xbox Live settings
    with no changes proving helpful. I still receive this message. Is anyone else having this issue? Is it a problem with the Xbox App itself? Please help!!

    Cannot take screenshots

    Try going into Settings, Preferences, and then Capture & Share.

    From there check to see if under Capture in the first block that says, "Allow game captures", and see if it either shows: "Captures by me or games" or "Capture by me."

    If it says, "Don't capture", then change it to either one of the other two options.

    Why can people use illegal tunes in rivals and be at the top of the leaderboards

    if you believe their are chewting screenshots or captured video may be helpful.

    If youve tried to dl an opponents file are unable to do so it may be because they set it to not share their tune.

    Based on the description, you are trying to share your game clips by copying the link and is unable to. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.



    Game Bar only shows captures that are saved locally on the Windows device you’re using. Captures uploaded to the Xbox network are viewable and shareable only in the Xbox mobile app. You can share screenshots or create a link for clips which you can post on social media.

    1. Press Win key + G to open Xbox Game Bar, then select Widget Menu > Gallery.
    2. To share a game clip or screenshot, select Open file location, then use your app of choice to share your capture.
