Unable to share clips & screen shots to Twitter.

As of last night I am unable to share clips & Screenshots straight to Twitter. I've tried re-linking my Twitter to my Microsoft account, I've tried removing and adding back my Microsoft account to my Xbox, I've made sure my privacy settings allow me to share clips, nothing works.

When I go to the linked account page in my settings, my Twitter is linked, however there is a separate option of "Twitter Sharing" that does nothing when I press the "Link" button. I've noticed also that this separate option is only in the Xbox Settings and not on the app.

As a content creator for daily gaming clips on Twitter with a steadily growing following, this is a huge issue for me. Please help.

Hello Darkzy, I don't know what procedures you tried on your console, but if you haven't tried a reset, follow the procedures below.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

The only thing on X1 that will use your Twitter account would be sharing game clips. Once you create a clip hit the share button. From there choose Twitter and it will ask you to authenticate your Twitter account. Then you can share to Twitter.

Im "sharing" my clips on twitter, IT takes a day for the newer clips that I make to HAVE the ability to do this but they all eventually allow you to share on twitter, an there is no app for this its just an option on clips in the DVR.

There are few workarounds.

1. In your twitter settings, allow twitter to post to Facebook on your behalf and then from your console share your photos or clips on twitter. They'll automatically be posted to Facebook.

2. Share your clips and photos on OneDrive, and then go to onedrive.com and find your clips/photo, get the share URL and share that on Facebook.

3. Or for clips go to a site such as https://xboxclips.com/ and on the top right search for your gamer tag. It will show you all your videos. Share from there to Facebook.

I have had the same problem and didnt get any response from Microsoft.
