Unable to send messages

hello,

I'm unable to send messages to friends or players. Every time I try it says "Can't complete this process. Please try again. For more info, visit www.xbox.com/support."

This is happening on my 360. I really want to get this fixed before my Xbox One X arrives.

Ever since the Xbox One servers have gone up I've had trouble with messages and other service problems on my Xbox 360. Yeah the One is great, but Microsoft, don't forget about the 360, in which I don't spend $60+ a year on service that requires me to try
10+ tries to send a message. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Unable to send messages

I never had a problem sending messages until about 3 days ago. Now when I try to send one I get a Validation Error message about making sure my privacy settings are set to allow messaging. So I go into xbox.live and look at all my settings, which have
never changed, and see that they are set to allow messaging, but I still can't message.

It seems downright deceptive of Microsoft to let this topic just sit

untouched. We know they want us 360 users to just go away. Even though

we won't, their refusal to support us is the behavior of a company that

does not deserve our business. I'm glad this obvious ignoring the 360

community happened before I got my Xbox One. It was going to be under

the Christmas tree, but now I think a PlayStation will be there instead. Some product

that has nothing to do with the shambles Microsoft has become since

Bill Gates turned away from it, and left it in the hands of the

incompetent.

same here. I got my account suspended for one day and afterwards i couldn't send messages for some reason. And idk how to fix it.

same issue ,has your aaccount been fixed?

So sorry didn't get back to you soon, and the account still hasn't been fixed 3 weeks later. I can send messages in any other imaginative way. Smartglass, xbox.com, 360, 360 backwards compatibility... just not through the Xbox One side guide. I have pretty
much stopped playing for the last little bit if the fix ever happens. I am annoyed about this and they wont escalate me.

Not sure if you're having the same problem but I had something similar happen.

My friend was "offline" and I could not join his game, even though he sent an invite.

He had to be shown as online before it worked.
