Unable to select the correct billing address region

I have an Xbox 360. when I try to make a game purchase, I enter all the credit card details correctly. when I need to enter the billing address it only gives me the options to select the relevant states in Australia. I live in South Africa and cannot get the system to show any South African provinces. I reset all the locale and regional settings over and over again on the console as well as in my Microsoft account, I also formatted and reset the console but it did not help. please assist if anybody has an answer.

    :)

    good evening

Make sure that your payment option is set to the correct region. To check this, go to the "Settings" menu on your Xbox, select "Account," then "Payment & billing," and then select "payment options." From here, you can check that your payment option is set to the correct region.

Make sure that your Microsoft account is set to the correct region. To check this, go to the "Settings" menu on your Xbox, select "Account," then "Language & location," and then select "Location." From here, you can check that your Microsoft account is set to the correct region.

Check that your billing address is correct. To do this, go to the "Settings" menu on your Xbox, select "Account," then "Payment & billing," and then select "payment options." From here, you can check that your billing address is correct and matches the region for your payment option.

Check that you have sufficient funds in your payment option to complete the purchase. If your payment option does not have enough funds to cover the purchase, you will need to add more funds or use a different payment option.

    I hope these suggestions help!

Paying for the Latest Version of Minecraft Online Problem with Postal Address

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

Billing through the Microsoft Store is dependent on the location settings you have set and it depends how you are accessing the Microsoft Store. If the billing section is asking you for an address from the US, then your Microsoft Store is set to the US region
an you need to change that to where you actually live to reflect the correct market.

In the page footer of Microsoft Store online, select your current language/region and make sure
    it is correct.

    On Windows:

    1. Select Start > Settings> Time & Language >
      Region.
    2. Under Country or region, select your region.

    On Xbox One:

    1. Sign in to your Xbox One console.
    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    3. Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & location.
    4. Select your location from the Location list, and then select Restart now.

Make sure you have the correct regional setting and then update your payment's billing address and information from the following link:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

    I hope this helps!

    Can't change Gamertag???

This depends by your console region.

If you are in the US you should select US as
    your Locale
(region) and, of course, add a billing address.

Make sure your console is set to the correct Locale so you will be able to use the proper address.

Also, make sure to update the
    billing information
on your microsoft account. It might take some hours to correctly update.

    Hope this helps.

fix the zip code problem i cant even get xbox live!

Do you live in an xbox live supported country?

You need to use a real billing address if you are trying to add billing info based on the region you selected for your account

This is why you cant select the us or another main xbox region and expect all the benefits

Or are you using a fake billing address? Then you must use a real one and it has to be the same as your region of your account
