    I have a similar question as this one:

    I am trying to update the privacy settings for my family's microsoft accounts so that they can play minecraft online, however I am unable to see their gamer tags on the xbox settings page, even though they are members of my family.

    Is there a known fix for this issue? I feel like there is something misconfigured somewhere, but I can't find any settings that I can change to let me see their accounts to change the permissions.

    Child account with no parent account

    Hello there,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In order to manage the privacy settings of a child account, you will have to add an adult account to the family first :

    Add members to your Microsoft family

    You will need to add this child account to an adult accounts family. you can then follow the instructions on this link to manage the child account's privacy settings :

    In that case, log into the adult account that has control over the Family Group.

    After that, Select Profile & system > Account > family Once thee, choose your child account Gamer tag Next, go to Privacy & Online Safety -> Xbox Live privacy -> View Details & Customize.

    Or you can do that from the website; by signing into the adult account
    here    . Then Choose your child account Gamer tag . then Select either the
    Xbox One/Windows 10 Onlin    e Safety tab or the Privacy tab. and update the settings that you want to change.
