    Unable to revert back to XBOX Insider. Help!


    Hi, I accidentally opt out of the Xbox Insider thru Xbox Insider Hub, then while playing my console ask for an update, so I did an update, it keeps on saying "There was a problem with the update." and I can't revert back to Xbox box insider using Xbox Insider Hub on my Windows PC. My current OS is 10.0.19041.5454 and its updating (downgrading?) to OS 10.019041.5082. I can't use my console online because it keeps on updating and there's always an error after the update. Error code: 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90250007

    I did everything I could except for manually updating my console using OSU1.

    Is there anything else I can do so I can use my console and play online?

    Help is badly needed. Thank you.

    Just curious were you enrolled in the xbox insider hub ? because I'm having the same issue and offline updating isn't helping. this only happened after I opted out of the program and it want to revert back to the public os. I still have no fix for this.

    New Dashboard is causing issues.

    First, I'm going to guess you're console is registered for an Insider Build. I do not believe the new re-designed dashboard has been released to the public.

    The last update was a small update to remove File Explorer.

    So if you are
    on an insider build,     then, yes, there is a way to revert. For now. Once the release is pushed to the general public there is no roll back option. So instead of reverting back, the best option, being on an Insider Build (but even if you're not)

    would be to provide feedback to the team that is designing it.     I've been using the dashboard on the Insider Builds, and I, for one, have welcomed the changes, and find it easier to navigate to what I want, focused on what I do most, with customization
    options for the guide included.

    If you don't think you are on an Insider Build, then I would check the Insider App to verify and let us know.
