    This is absolutely unacceptable. I have purchased several games and cannot possibly get them to run now the market place program does not work anymore (or more likely the backend has been taken offline).

    The irony is, that even when using the linked purchase history page, the download link refers back to the broken Marketplace client !

    Why is this taking so long do MS not have an SLA timescale for PAYING customers to get their content back?

    I am still happy to have a full refund for all my GFW content its a lot but I think MS can afford to give me a full refund if you cannot fix this!

    This is a joke, no one is actually looking into this. GFWL marketplace servers have been offline for over 6 months now. Any effort to contact support is met with a redirect to Steam (who redirects you to microsoft...) or a nonsense run-round checking compatibility
    settings. GFWL marketplace servers in the US are offline, plain and simple. They do not give two *** about their services or their customers.

    All I want is my Fable 3 DLC, Sooo glad I didn't buy much on gfwl. If they do the right thing and fix this cool, but my trust in the platform is not so easily restored. Windows 10 marketplace.... at this rate no thank-you Unable to retrieve purchase history for Age of Empires 3 on GFWL client :(

    edit: odd thing I notice is my glitched gfwl client shows an outdated gamerscore for my card, so not only can it not fetch my game purchases but it isn't an up to date profile score... if it can't do anything properly why can I even sign into it :/

    I am dizzy from trying to fix a bunch of Games that use Games for Windows Live; and I have literally tried THOUSANDS OF TIMES to fix using dozens of suggested solutions, but they still don`t work.

    Are Microsoft practicing being thieves?

  9. This is really frustrating. I got bounced around by 4 different tech support people. Every one assured me the person they were sending me to would be able to help. None could.

    All I want is my product code for Age of Empires 3 so I can activate it on Steam. Simple enough request. I asked Sega for the same thing when Dawn of War was having trouble activating on Steam and they sorted me out straight away with a new code. Microsoft?
    Nothing but incompetence.

    I've had my account for many years and have spent tons of hard earned money on Xbox and GFWL and new stuff on windows 10. I've been buying stuff since microsoft was first a company. How is it that a company with so much money and technology can't figure
    out to let us play games from a few years ago? Makes no sense to me at all.

    Unable to retrieve purchase history for Age of Empires 3 on GFWL client

    Works ok for me must be your PC. The entire backend LIVE to GFWL connection is broken. I have a working install on an older Vista OS partition (I triple boot OSes). GFWL content I have installed on that old OS like Game Room still works ok. I cannot copy
    paste to Win 7 either it lets me do it then reports its installed but as the LIVE backend is broken no way to retrieve a GFWL access key or LIVE token. Even if you try typing one in from a retail GFWL game it will not recognise it even for the same game like
    (Fallout 3 GOTY edition). LIVE to GFWL backend is totally broken as Gamerscore will not display or update either. I see MS are listing Gears Of War Win 10 DX12 version now but I cannot even get my digital Gears Of War edition running or even downloaded from
    the GFW marketplace until MS fix this. I would rather have a refund now from MS £600 should cover it (although its probably much higher). Until people demand or can we even demand refunds I do not see MS fixing this as a high priority!
