Unable to retrieve purchase history for Age of Empires 3 on GFWL client

I have bought Batman Arkham City with real money and there is that problem of GFWL

Microsoft, fix GFWL or give me my money

GFWL and Age of Empires 3: Can't redownload the game through GFWL client

I was told to make a post here after a lengthy chat discussion with Microsoft's support. My problem is every time I log into GFWL client and try to redownload age of empires 3 I get: There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and
try again later. I just want to redownload and play the game I bought.

The GFWL Client is trying to reach Service but because this is taken down that is why the
client is unable to retrieve the purchase history.

 

Is it safe to assume this will never get fixed and responses will be canned?

 

Well, to be fair it has only been 6 days since the last update post and two of those days were a weekend so it has been 4 business days.

So to the people that posted 1-2 days after Miss posted need to relax. I understand though for the guys that have been waiting since November.

I have been having the same issue as well, but I understand it may not be fixed yet/soon or ever.

 

Seems like it would be simple just to merge the old marketplace with the new store. If my xbox one can play 360 games certainly my PC can play my old games.

 

I am happy to have my £500-600 worth of content back in real money if you like MS if you are not going to fix this. Nowhere did you tell me I would be denied future access to the content I bought from GFW Marketplace!!

not on their radar or such a low priority. Personally I think what they have done is of questionable legality

 

Same issue here! Wish they could either give us access again or at least give us keys to download our purchased games via Steam instead.

 

It's kind of ironic that they just launched the first AAA title on the new windows game store while their old forgotten marketplace is broken and peoples paid content locked. I actually wanted to download the new rise of the tomb raider from the new store
but this is incompetence and I will probably just get the more reliable steam version.

@ MS I am still happy to have my £500-600 back in UK currency if you do not want to fix this.

Sooner or later gamers with less patience than us lot are going to take legal action you cannot deny us access to our content & or not refund us if its broken at your end!!

I should not be able to play the games I BOUGTH but I HAVE TO be able to play the games I BOUGHT.

At least let us DL our GWFL games library via the new XBOX APP on W10 which is great.

So, when will we be able to download our purchased gfwl games again?

Or even see our purchase history?
