Unable to Remote play in iOS 16.3 iPhone 14 pro / iPad M1 but able to play in 16.1.2 iPhone XR

I have everything set up correctly for remote play however I can’t connect to console from my iPhone on IOS 16. I am currently using an Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

following this, I’ve been having the same issue lately; months ago i could remote play over cellular with no issue, now i get the same message but with this error code. However remote play works just fine when i’m connected to wi-fi, and not just my home wi-fi.

I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

I have Verizon wireless for cellular, iphone 14 pro max running ios 16.1.2, the xbox app is up to date and my xbox is a wired connection with 40Mbps upstream.

Ive been having this same issue i used to game fine in my iPhone 12 pro but ever since I got my iPhone 14 pro max I haven't been able to remote play on it from anywhere other than right next to my xbox on the same wifi network. So disappointing

I also initially thought that may have been the issue, but my iPhone 12 pro is running the most up to date version iOS 16, same as my iPhone 14 pro max.
